With the weather warming up, Spring trends are in full force and our Guest Blogger, Becky Kung of Velvet & Vino along with Diva have rounded up the top must-have fashion and beauty trends from the runway. These Spring trends are simply irresistible and so easy to replicate. Let’s start rocking these looks! Be inspired below:

Becky’s Favorite Spring Style Trends:

Fringe galore: Everything is about fringe this season! We’re seeing fringed cross-body bags, dresses, skirts and even fringe high-heels. Designer Emilio Pucci showed us how the fringe is done with flowy ponchos and overtop dresses, all embellished with delicate fringe.

Khaki: Khaki is the new classic, becoming a staple piece in the closet. Everything from simple to elegant, khaki is the “it” material this season. Marc Jacobs designed beautiful military inspired pieces that make for the perfect wardrobe transition into the spring season.

Hippie Girl: As with most fashion eras, styles have a tendency to come back with a new revolutionized spin on the trends. We’re seeing this happen this spring with the 1970’s! The hippie long dresses are the prime example, mixing lace with pleats or funky motif prints on long dresses. Alberta Ferretti’s collection is stunning, while elegantly playing with the 1970’s hippie trend in the soft pink palette.

Denim: Let’s jump for joy, because one of our closet mainstays is going strong this season! Denim has been transformed this spring into a variety of different effects and colors. One denim trend we’re seeing is the mixtures of denim colors for denim patchwork. Also, different styles are hitting the radar, including flare jeans and bell bottoms. Also, denim has made appearances as the top fabric for tops, dresses and skirts.

Diva’s Spring Beauty Trends: As Seen in Fashion Magazine

“Spring 2015 is all about natural beauty,” says DIVA SalonSpa educator stylist Hala Halat. “Whether it’s air-dried or not, the natural, bohemian-inspired waves give a clean, bed-head look. The low ponytail is another option, as it’s very versatile and great for business meetings and cocktail parties. Last, but not least, the deconstructed braid, with loose wisps of hair around the face, is another popular style we’ll see again this season.”

Complementing the relaxed bohemian look, popular in fashion, “neutral tones will be taking centre stage, mixed with bright and pale pastels” says Halat. Hair-wise, cooler tones like grey violets and soft pastel blondes are popular. “Combine this with bronzed skin, earth-toned eyes and a glossy lip for a day-to-day look. For something a bit more dramatic, add flicked-out eyeliner or a deep lip colour for a stained effect,” suggests Halat.
