NEW SALON AND SPA LOCATION
November 2015 – Diva Salon and Spa opens in Market Mall. With eight convenient locations throughout Calgary, Diva Salon and Spa continues to offer consistent, quality hair and spa services while expanding our team to over 150 strong.

Earth Month – Diva Salonspa raises over $70,000 for WaterAid!
Everyone, Everywhere 2030: [The WaterAid] vision is a world where everyone, everywhere has safe water, sanitation and hygiene. www.wateraid.org
April 14th, 2015 marked the first annual Catwalk For Water. The Diva Artistic Team with the support of many tireless Diva volunteers and sponsors donated time and resources resulting in a spectacular hair and fashion show. Proceeds were donated to WaterAid currently working in Madagascar to provide clean water and hygiene education in this poor African nation.
Wings of Hope – Diva Salonspa raises over $7500!
This local foundation’s mission is “to provide funding for programs that ease the financial burden and promote wellness with people living with cancer.” www.wings-of-hope.com
United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) – Diva Salonspa raises over $1200 for Syrian refugee relief.The UN Refugee Agency is a lifeline for people displaced by violence, conflict and persecution. The UN Refugee Agency provides shelter, food, water, medical care and other life-saving assistance to refugees around the world. www.unhcr.ca
Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Alberta – Diva Salonspa supports the Make-A-WishÒ Beauty Boutique with volunteer stylists, makeup artists and fund raising.
The mission of Make-A-Wish® Southern Alberta is to grant the wishes of children in need with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hop, strength and joy. www.makeawishsa.ca
Handbags for Humanity – Diva Salonspa West Mount Royal volunteers gathered basics like sweaters, socks, mittens, hats, scarves, tooth brushes, soap etc. then assembled and distributed bags to Calgary homeless people. They made 14 men’s bags and 15 women’s.

Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) 25th Anniversary Event hosted by Estee Lauder Global Brand President Dominique Conseil.

Owners Diana and Rami Hussein were invited to attend this January 2015 event in NYC where they were looking forward to meeting special guest former US VP Al Gore. Sadly this event was cancelled due to poor weather. As hearty Canadians, Diana and Rami still enjoyed wandering the snowy streets of NYC.
Special Reception with Honorary WaterAid President Margaret Trudeau – Diva Salon Spa was invited to attend as a top fundraiser for WaterAid.
This exclusive reception marked the unveiling of WaterAid’s To Be a Girl photography exhibition featuring the work of award-winning documentary and portrait photographer Abbie Trayler Smith.
India Study Tour with Aveda Corp. – November 2015 – Diva founder Sam Taleb travelled to India with the Aveda Corp. tribe to observe the work of Global Green Grants funds. In April, all Aveda salons including Diva Salonspa sell the Aveda Light the Way Candle where 100% of the proceeds support clean water projects in communities around the globe. www.globalgreengrants.org
Madagascar Study Tour with Aveda Canada – November 2015 – As top fundraisers, Diva founder Raymond Taleb and managing partner Jennifer Hageahmad travelled to Madagascar to observe the work of WaterAid. Earth Month fundraising proceeds support WaterAid efforts in poor nations to provide clean water and hygiene education.

CTV New Season New You – The Diva hair and makeup team volunteered in two make over projects with CTV and the Style Guys with specially chosen recipients.
Editorial Shoots – Diva had the honor of working with several talented creative directors, stylists and photographers to create gorgeous spreads in a number of fashion publications.
New York Fashion Week – Diva stylists were invited to assist celebrity hair stylist Jon Reyman backstage during New York Fashion Week.
