Want to impress your girlfriends by rocking some serious fashion-forward beauty and style trends this season? With the International Fashion Week circuit now wrapped up, the fun begins for replicating the Spring Summer 2015 trends in our looks now!

We’ve asked our Guest Blogger, Becky Kung of Velvet & Vino to dish on her favorite style trends spotted at the shows she attended at the New York and London Fashion Weeks. We’ve also asked our top Diva stylists to give us their exclusive back-stage insights of the New York Fashion Week beauty trends. Get the lowdown below:

Becky’s Favorite Runway Style Trends:

  1. White on White: there’s something so fresh about white on white. I particularly love this outfit by Diesel Black Gold, with the metallic stud hardware and the flippy mini skirt. This was certainly one of my favorites looks spotted at this show. [ Diesel image via Diesel Black Gold]

  1. Men’s Inspired: the men’s inspired tailoring is huge this Fall season and I’m so excited to see that J. Crew is keeping this trend alive into Spring 2015! From tailored suiting and pinstripe fabrics this look is perfect for wearing it from day to night and work to weekend.

    1. Boxy: oversize is the must-have shape and Cynthia Rowley has done it right with her floral cut-out dress paired with strappy heels. This style can easily be worn this season by pairing opaque black tights with booties.

  1. Slip Dress: Supermodel Cara Delevingne is one of the world’s top models and Topshop’s campaign girl. She finished off the Topshop show in this stunning lingerie-inspired slip dress. Certainly a piece that’s more on the riskier side, this dress is so pretty and ultra-feminine.

Diva’s Stylist’ Beauty Trends:

Stylist Jennelle Lessard had the opportunity to work back stage at New York Fashion Week, here are her thoughts on what she saw back stage.

  1. Sleek and Sexy: Diesel – This look was kept clean and polished, achieving a sophisticated yet sexy look by wearing a part starting from the temples  slicked and wrapped tightly around the head, with a high shine to simulate a “wet look”. You can easily achieve the high shine look with Aveda’s Brilliant Spray on Shine.
  2. Windblown: J. Crew – Lightly pulled back look with more of an editorial feel, a little windblown you could say! This look can be achieved by deliberately pulling pieces out of your ponytail and then hold in place by using Aveda’s Control Force Hairspray.
  3. Be Playful: Cynthia Rowley – Hair was styled to feel young and playful, by having a deep side part and a hair accessory added to the part line. The bouncy curls looked great going down the runway.  These curls can be achieved by using Aveda’s Phomollient before you blow dry, then curling your hair with a one inch curling iron.
  4. Rough around the Edges: Top Shop This classic half up half down do was created with a modern twist. Soft textures flowed throughout the hair creating perfect movement. This look can be achieved by alternating your curl direction using a flatiron. Then apply Aveda’s Hair Potion to add effortless volume. Take it one step further and apply the hair potion throughout your hair to create “roughed up look”.
